All controls are housed on the Control Panel pictured as below:

Step 1
Set the battery switch to Batt 1 or Batt 2. The battery indicator will light and show the status of the chosen battery – the greater the charge the further to the right green bar will illuminate. During operation if the charge falls such that the orange bar illuminates the Batt switch should be immediately switched to the alternative battery.

Step 2
Turn the red isolator switch through 90 degrees to the one position and the yellow panel light will illuminate and the TV screen come to life.

Step 3
After about 20 secs the amplifier will come on signified by an audible “pop“ and the unit can then be set into operation by turning the switch to “auto“. The unit will then cycle continuously through the Lung Run and then Video Run until turned off. During the Lung Run phase the motor will operate driving the end bellows via a drive belt. Beware of the moving machinery. Switch off before approach.

If manual operation is desired follow steps 1 and 2 before setting the switch to Man and then pressing either the Lung Run or Video Run button. The unit has to go through its entire cycle (5 min Lung – 6 min Video) before the alternative mode can be engaged. During the Lung Run phase the motor will operate driving the end bellows via a drive belt. Beware of the moving machinery. Switch off before approach

Note

  1. In dark light the internal trailer light can be turned on by the switch located above the storage cupboard.
  2. In bright sunlight a TV shroud ( located in the storage cupboard ) can be placed around the TV.

Closing Down
At the end of operation the Man/Auto switch should be set to the central off position, the red isolator turned 90 degrees to the off position (the yellow light will go out) and the battery switch set to the central off position. If the TV shroud has been employed it should be removed and returned to the storage cupboard.
